The Granipex-Arar Group has its own quarries and two industrial plants in Minas Gerais - Brazil. Its highly trained technical staff, strict quality control and modern equipment ensure the efficiency of its service.

The preservation of the environment starts with small daily actions that make all the difference. The concern of protecting the nature is a continuous effort of the Granipex Arar Group.

Based on this concern our products are packed with Elliotis pine wood, from reforestation programs and the water used during the extraction and industrialization process of the stones goes through a process of reusing and recycling.

The Group periodically holds a monitoring program in conjunction with the municipal authorities and also receives IBAMAs visit to ensure the standards set by environmental legislation.

It also promotes educational events for the community of Felixlândia in Minas Gerais and its surroundings. The Group offers sporting events and writing contests with rewards of scholarship in computer science courses.

The Group Granipex-Arar stands out in the segment due to its high quality products, because of its great interaction with society and for being in accordance with the requirements of environmental liability.

WATER - Through a decantation tank system, more than 80% of water used at production process is recycled. The water which irrigates the quarry is then used for polishing stones.
OIL - The maintenance of vehicles, oil changing and machine washing is done on a waste separation structure. The collected oil is sent to a specialized company that treats it and reuses it.
RECYCLING - The quartzite waste is recycled and a portion of it is donated to the city of Caxambú for street improvements and sidewalks. The unusable recyclable waste is separated and delivered to the city on the selective collection program
